Deanna has been gardening and growing things since childhood, later owning and operating her own small design, maintenance and installation company in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California. She enjoys working with native plants, biodynamics, permaculture, and herbals. Her previous careers involved the healing arts and the natural foods industry.
At Pumpkin Brook, she manages our design process, helping clients to actualize their dreams for personal outdoor spaces. Deanna sums up her philosophy this way: “My intention, as a creative cultivator, is to design landscapes that are regenerative, encouraging Nature’s healing processes to restore ecological balance in disturbed landscapes.”
